| GM-CSF is produced in response to a number of inflammatory mediators by mesenchymal cells present in the hemopoietic environment and at peripheral sites of inflammation. GM-CSF is able to stimulate the production of neutrophilic granulocytes, macrophages, and mixed granulocyte-macrophage colonies from bone marrow cells and can stimulate the formation of eosinophil colonies from fetal liver progenitor cells. GM-CSF can also stimulate some functional activities in mature granulocytes and macrophages. | Recombinant murine GM-CSF produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 125 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 14285.35 Dalton. Murine GM-CSF is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. | |

| Lyophilized GM-CSF although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 C. Upon reconstitution GM-CSF should be stored at 4 C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein （0.1% HSA or BSA）. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles. | |
